ExpressWeb

ExpressWeb allows Sage Accountants' Network members to be able to buy a website with a choice of themes, that can then be customised to the individual’s preferences. The process is automatic and a site is generated.

Development was undertaken in a team of three; A mammoth Drupal project that involved site building, custom module development and plenty of theming and front-end. As one team member took on the role of developing the Drupal commerce functionality, my role was to plan and architect the Drupal site build, attend to any module development and then build seven themes.

The first theme being the main ExpressWeb site to sell the other themes, the biggest challenge was to plan and build one back-end that could flexibly serve six different themes.

With bootstrap as the base, all themes are fully responsive, using bootstrap’s native LESS for styling.
